Tools I discovered for myStartup Online Business
As a startup, it was very much trial and error at the beginning. We didn’t begin online. It was producing events/seminars, coaching face to face, public speaking at events, like the Mind Body Spirit Festival, for example, or Generation Women. Even so, a website was needed. If you don’t have a presence online in this day and age, you don’t have a business!
When you consider a website, it is best to think about the product or service you provide. #Shopify is great for products for instance, #Wordpress for blogging, services and sites like #Thinkific for online courses. I tried them all. If you are not tech savvy and don’t know how to design, outsourcing becomes a great solution. A very cost efficient site, providing a whole host of services I often use is Fiverr. Referrals are also a great way to go, nothing beats word of mouth. I have to say however, I did find local designers and Tech to be more expensive in comparison with Fiverr.
When I decided to transition my Formula for Success for women, The Areti Goddess Online Program , I had to create an online course. I was lucky enough to have presenting experience, with a background in acting, TV Presenting, Public Speaking and so on. I hired a camera and equipment and went to work! I recorded the course in video and audio. With audio, I used my iphone.
