Suddenly, funny how it happens!
We go about our daily life, doing what we do. We go to work, feed the family, travel, have fun, go shopping, study, dance, sing, act, make millions. It’s the unexpected that can change us in a second.
We all know, life can take a turn suddenly. We may have an accident, be diagnosed with something, experience a relationship breakup, an earthquake, a bomb! We may lose a loved one, we may learn of a sudden death, the list goes on.
Then there are awesome turning points, epiphanies, that can inspire us to create amazing life changes.
There are certain things that can trigger memories and in turn, emotional responses. Every experience we have is embedded in our cellular system. That is why, I work with a number of modalities. It is not enough to acknowledge and heal a trauma, for example, on a cognitive level. We must also release it from a cellular and energetic level. I find that a combination works best.
One of the biggest triggers for emotional response is music. We hear a song we knew and loved a long time ago and all of a sudden we are right back there, in that memory, feeling what we felt, or what we feel now. Or seeing someone from the past, triggering emotion. I remember travelling to Athens, Greece, in search of my Mother’s maiden home. I had…
