The Rollercoaster of Entrepreneurship!

Did you know that most Start-ups fail within the first 3 Years? You would think it comes down to funding, or other operational issues. Actually, it is mainly due to the Founder, giving up. That is why, it is so important to keep coming back to your “WHY”. It is why living your Purpose and Passion, doing something meaningful that serves humanity is the surest bet to Success. When you are passionate about what you do, it is easy to come back to your WHY.

As my readers and clients know, I started my Entrepreneurial journey at the age of 52. If you know my work, you know that I am a huge advocate for working for yourself, in your own time! Doing what you love, is by far, the greatest gift and my definition of Success. Why? because it makes you so happy! I am always moved to tears seeing my clients succeed, it brings me so much joy! Having said that, Entrepreneurship is no walk in the park!

Firstly it is a massive learning curve. Which Business Structure is right for this? What type of insurance does my business need? What are the Taxes to pay? How about Accounting? What is the target market? What is my competition? Where is the funding? What is the product or service and what needs to be done to develop it? How will the business be promoted? Who can I collaborate with? How can I build a great team? Where do I get guidance and support? What about Pricing? How do I pay myself? Where and how do I Pitch? the list goes on. On that note, if you’d like to Start a Business, especially Online, check out the Areti Goddess Online Program.

There are challenges along every step of the way, as there are exciting Rewards.

That is why, you can’t do it alone. A great team will help bring the Business Success. I have been watching a Japanese Series on Netflix, called “Riding a Unicorn”.

It is a great Series, following the journey of a Start-up and the lives of the Founders. Watching their journey is moving and inspiring. The heroine has a passion to provide education to everyone, regardless of their station in life. That passion is her driver, empowering her to become a CEO despite her lack of education. If you watch Netflix, I recommend it.

I started watching it, as my company is at a new place, and I find myself seeking guidance and advice. When you think about it, we employ coaches and teachers every time we learn something new. Whether we are at school, play sports, learn to dance, sing, act, grow personally and professionally. We can’t do it alone and further, cliche as it is, “we don’t know what we don’t know”. There are so many resources available to us. We are so lucky. In my own business, though online courses are provided, they are always coupled with mentoring and coaching. Full support is what we all need.

Wishing You Amazing Success!
