For all the Black Sheep
What does a Black Sheep have in common with a Goddess?
A Goddess is someone who is unapologetic about her light and shadow alike, who doesn’t feel the need to fit in, isn’t afraid to stand out in the crowd, to be her Authentic Self. To be in Her Power!
Today, I wish to celebrate all of those kids who don’t necessarily fit in at school, sometimes considered “special”. They are the kids that exhibit different attributes to most. Quite often they are picked on, even bullied at school. Teachers will often call parents in to discuss them.
Then, we see the Black Sheep in families. They are usually the kids who choose to leave their conditioning and discover the world on their own terms. They choose their own journey, following their passion and joy. Separating from family systems can be traumatic, especially as many families resent kids not falling in line.
These are the kids who grow up to become extraordinary, the pioneers.
When I recall my own journey as a child, attending around ten schools in two countries, meant I was always the outsider, having to fit in, or so I thought. The truth is, I learned how to be a chameleon, which may have contributed to my later career in Acting.
