If you’ve ever felt truly frustrated, had enough, felt suffocated, limited, thwarted, you just want to break free don’t you?

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is #BreaktheBias Women have felt the weight of bias throughout time. Seen but not heard, without a voice, opinion or expression. Unable to vote, exhibit Art, write for publication, even branded as witches and burnt at the stake. Bias takes many forms, history tells us.

It is no wonder that as women, we have fought to be heard and acknowledged. For many, freedom is as distant today as it was hundreds of years ago for others. Religion, culture and Geography have played a part here. Yet women in leadership have displayed superior outcomes in corporations. The last couple of years have heralded the Rise of Female Leaders, with support growing on every level.

You may be surprised to know, that in Australia, a developed nation, women are still paid less, around $250 per week in fact, half our middle aged women retire without retirement funds in poverty. One in three women are abused in intimate relationships, whilst Australia ranks a measly 5o? on the Global Gender Gap Index.

How, then do we BREAK FREE?

How do we break free, break the barriers, both internal and external, break Bias? First, I believe we must break out of the bias we have toward drama and the negative. It is not our fault, it is just the way we are conditioned. If you’d like to learn more about that, I recommend Journey to Ease & Grace. In fact it is a great book for Breaking Free!

You see, freedom, ease and grace, are a state of mind and being. It matters not whether you are homeless, in a horrible situation or on top of the world. It matters not if the world is falling apart. It is from this space you are able to create solutions to live a life you love.

Part of the reason I created my Legacy Online Program for women, is to empower women personally & professionally, to do what they love, especially online. To break Free, break the Bias, to be all of who you are, unapologetically YOU, a Goddess. Now is your time and women are our only hope for cultural survival. There are many ways to join us, like the Areti Goddess Club online, here is a link for more information www.aretigoddessevents.com/home
