2022, Lowlights & Highlights & 2023

Today is our Weekly Goals day @Aretigoddessevents. Our day, each week, when we declare what we plan to achieve, on our way to our Big Goal. As things speed up for Christmas, what is your Goal this week?

As I sat with dear friends, reuniting after a year, at lunch yesterday, I brought up the question about lowlights and highlights of 2022. We all shared, it was such a valuable thing to do. It is so important to stop and take stock regularly, particularly at the end of a year.

This year we witnessed Eurovision highlights, the FIFA World Cup, Emma McKeon’s record-breaking swim at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Budget winners and losers, a higher cost of living, the ongoing War, resurgence of Covid variants, weather events like floods, Donald Trump drama, Elon Musk and Twitter, the list goes on.

As a Start-up, here at Areti Goddess Events, where you can get some Awesome Gifts with Instant Access FYI, it has been a year of highs and lows, inherent in the Start-up journey. There is no doubt there have been some personal lowlights with cancer in the family discovered this year. We have also been dealing with the challenge of bootstrapping, working on a skeleton budget with a tiny team.
